I would like to know also- I thought it might had been Britney Spears, but I couldn't find anything on Google either.

I'm looking too. There's nothing on the CSI forums. It does sound like Macy Gray but the style doesn't really match and it's not on her 2009 release. My best guess is that it is unreleased but I'm hoping to find something soon.

I'll bet whoever the artist is she is just as frustrated as we are. I mean, how stupid to use a song and not credit the artist, limiting her exposure!

All I know is the music editor of the show is PJ Bloom and he has yet to respond to an e-mail. He is also a DJ, and as a fellow DJ I'm upset I can't get me hands on this song!

Thank you Karen at CBS Music Operations....she called me back and said that it is Macy Gray and the song is called "Lately" it is on her new album "The Gray Life"
Hey, I STILL can't find this CD or song anywhere. Macy's website, wwwthegraylife.com goes to a blank page. Is this CD even released? Macy's been trying to make a comeback. I wonder if she knows what a monster hit single she has on her hands?

The name of the song is "Lately" from Macy Gray's new upcoming album "The Sellout". & I LOVE IT! This HAS TO BE the SECOND SINGLE from her new album! The first one has already been released & it's called "Beauty In The World"! :D
