Upon looking into the Kevin Rudolf theory, its NOT his song "In the City". That whole song is on his MySpace, and just listened to it. It does sound very slightly similar, but its not the one we wanted..

It wasn't Oasis. Not the one that has the lyrics 'in the city of dreams, you get caught up in schemes' but Oasis was in later. I think when they were in the lab. The other one almost sounded like Mattafix to me.
i'm the one doing the csi:ny music list on the csi:ny forums and I'm trying my HARDEST to find this one. Falling down is not this one, it's later on in the ep i'm rewatching the ep now i think it's with Sid?

seriously, as soon as i heard the song i went straight to Kevin's myspace and then hit y-tube because i thought i missed some new edit of Let it Rock. not him as far as i've looked but man it just caught my ear that way. now i'm intrigued.

grace, I apologize for before. I asked as well. Not to be mean, but I like doublechecking these facts myself, because I've used tunefind too often, and the people there are nasty liars. They put songs that are NOWHERE in the episode.
Anyways, according to Kevin Rudolf his song WAS on CSI:NY and it is titled NYC (different from In The City) A possible reason for it not being available for sample is he wants people to check out the CD. Anyways. we will have to wait till the 25th!
