Scene: (Opening Scenes) A girl is running through some woods, working out. New cadet recruits stand outside their rooms being grilled & drilled by their officers during reveille, the wake-up routine at the academy. They are sent outside to the quad where they are hazed by officers up on the wall.

Scene: (Mother's recollection - saying she always sided with her husband, but that there comes a time when a child needs more than tough love) Kate's mother tells her father that Kate's going off to college and asks if he intends to say goodbye to her. Kate tries talking to him, telling him that she knows he doesn't want her to do it.

Scene: (The Operations Officer, Moe Kitchener's recollection - saying that Kate never filed a complaint, that she was determined to be one of the guys) The recruits are getting haircuts and Commandant Murillo and his Operations Officer, Moe Kitchener, are talking about how short to cut the girls' hair. Courtney plays with her newly shorn hair and looks like she's about to cry and Kate tells her don't do that.

The officer's are breaking down the recruits during hell week and Sgt. James Addison gets in their faces. Courtney has problems with the exercise He tells Kate that the only way she's getting a ring is through him and that that ain't gonna happen.

Scene: (Sgt. James Addison' recollection - saying he didn't treat the female knobs any different.) The recruits find out that Kate ranked first when she finished in sixth place. Cadet Ryan Stewart makes a snide comment and is humiliated in front of everyone when Kate finishes a set of chin-ups and he can't.

Keith and Kate are studying together and he teases her for smiling. She says that she has to be tough, that if she lets her guard down that she'll be dead. She says that if she were a boy, her dad would be bragging to everyone he knows.

Scene: (Cadet Keith Henderson's recollection - saying that he went into the girls' bathroom to help Kate.) Keith goes into the girls' bathroom after seeing a man leaving. He finds her lying half out of the shower with her hand bleeding. He tries to get her to tell him who did it, but she just wants him to take her back to her room.

There was a song towards the end, and the beginning of the clip is showing the pmi barracks,I think lilly was walking to the front, after her accident. it sounded kinda funky and dark??Does anyone know what it was??
